In the Air, 2022, Oil on Canvas, 110 x 150 cm

In the Air is an exploration of surveillance through the lens of personal experience and urban landscapes. The scene unfolds along the dingy back alleys of Tottenham Court Road, where digital eyes glare unceasingly. These alleys, frequented by bin men, crackheads, drunken businessmen, and thieves, are bathed in an eerie atmosphere of scrutiny.  Drawing inspiration from previously created collages, the artist crafts a complex and subtle composition that reflects on the pervasive presence of surveillance in modern society.
