'Not proud nor ashamed of my background. It is out of focus.' (although it is not significant anymore). For the past five years, his life has alternated between 12-hour night shifts in a glass factory and painting as an artist, a process he also describes as 'painting by numbness'. 'Come down off the cross, we need the wood! We need the wood!' --- voice off page, is his banter of that life or the very world. Furthermore, His work also depicts an obsession with the unseen-scenes between scenes, as he says 'Compelled by the unseen-scenes between scenes, where memory and experience keep dissolving'. His emotional flux extends inwards from the diagonal of the frame, drawing the fusion of emotions from bi-poles of the reality as/into a hidden entrance to the "uncanny" (dark and fearful) scenes of everyday life.
